On January 16, 2006, I changed 
the wording slightly to clarify the list
of those shown in this photograph who were also
on board when crew 40, flying as Batcat 19, crashed
on the morning of September 6, 1969.

I am forwarding this info from one of my former crew members, Bruce Gunderson.  Apparently
he either has excellant recall or keeps better records than I do.

NOTE - Crew 40 was returning from a mission in the early morning hours of 
September 6, 1969, when the airplane landed short next to the approach lights.  Fours 
crew members were killed, along with 4 Thai nationals nearby were killed.

You are correct, this photo was well before the September crash.  I had been reassigned
to compose a new Crew 42.  Five members shown in this crew photo (Orth, Jenkins, Sobotta,
Tasaki, and Black) were on Batcat 19 when it went down on September 6, 1969.  See the
